The Issue

To meet the needs of patients in the interior of the Basque Country suffering from kidney failure, the Saint-Palais Hospital has opened a new medical dialysis unit (UDM). With 12 stations at the time of its opening, its capacity is expected to increase in the future.

This building, which covers 504 m², is heated and cooled by a geothermal system using ground-source heat exchangers.

With this project, the Saint-Palais Hospital Center is strengthening its role in the regional healthcare network while reaffirming its commitment to the ecological transition.
